Terms & Conditions

Please read these terms carefully. They explain how our website and guidance services work, your responsibilities, and how we handle bookings and issues.

First published: 27 August 2025  ·  Last reviewed: 21 July 2026

1) Who we are

GuideAxis provides brand-neutral, education-only device guidance to UK users. We do not perform hardware repairs, remote access, or warranty processing. Using this website or booking a session means you accept these terms.

  • Legal name: Connecgen Global LLP, operating as GuideAxis
  • GSTIN: 09AAWFC5769J1ZH
  • Registered office (India): Connecgen Global LLP, 3rd Floor, Plot No. 23, Block-B, Sector-62, Noida, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Uttar Pradesh – 201301
  • Service region: United Kingdom (online guidance)
  • Contact (UK): +44-808 531 0585 · info@guideaxis.online

Educational guidance only — no remote access, no repairs, no manufacturer representation.

2) Scope of service

Our role is to provide step-by-step, brand-neutral guidance you can carry out yourself. You remain in control of your own device(s) at all times. If your issue appears to be a hardware fault or requires specialist repair, we will explain why guidance is not suitable and signpost next steps.

In scope

Connectivity, printing and scanning setup, driver installation, error-code explanations, quality troubleshooting, and pairing devices — the kinds of tasks covered across our Services pages.

Out of scope

Hardware repair, warranty claims, physical device disassembly, and bypassing administrative restrictions on a managed or corporate device.

3) Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18, or have a parent/guardian present for any guidance involving minors' devices.
  • You confirm you have the right to follow the steps on the device and network you use (e.g., not a restricted corporate device without admin approval).

4) Bookings, plans & sessions

  • Making a booking: We confirm by email with a proposed slot/timeframe. Small adjustments may be needed to ensure a suitable tutor/time zone.
  • Session format: Guidance is delivered through notes and walk-through instructions; you perform the actions locally.
  • Materials: You may receive reusable step lists and checklists for personal use (see section 8 on intellectual property).
  • Rescheduling & cancellations: See our Refund & Cancellation Policy for timelines and any fees.

5) Pricing & payment

  • Prices are shown in GBP and may change from time to time. The price at checkout applies to your purchase.
  • Payments are handled by our payment partner. We do not store full card numbers.
  • If taxes apply, they will be shown at checkout.

6) Acceptable use (website & materials)

  • Do not misuse the site: no scraping, automated harvesting, security testing, or introducing malware.
  • Do not copy, re-publish, sell, or redistribute our materials beyond permitted personal use (see section 8).
  • Do not misrepresent affiliation with any manufacturer or with us.
  • Do not request or offer remote access or passwords. We will never ask to take control of your system.
  • Do not use our site or materials for unlawful activity or to circumvent security policies you're bound by.
  • Be respectful in communications; abusive behaviour is not tolerated and may end sessions without refund.

What this looks like in practice: sharing our written checklists with a couple of household members is fine; reposting them on another website or reselling them isn't. Asking us general questions about your setup is fine; asking us to help bypass an employer's device restrictions isn't something we'll assist with.

7) Safety & device responsibility

You are responsible for your devices, backups, and security settings. We only suggest safe, reversible steps. Always check you have recent backups and necessary permissions. If any step is unclear, stop and ask us to clarify before proceeding.

8) Intellectual property & licence

All website content, guides, and learning materials are owned by Connecgen Global LLP (operating as GuideAxis) or our licensors. We grant you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the materials we provide solely for your household or small-office needs. You must not re-publish, share publicly, sell, or create derivative works from our materials without written permission.

In plain terms: the notes and checklists we give you are yours to keep and use, indefinitely, for your own household or small office — but they remain our content, so publishing them elsewhere or building a competing resource from them isn't covered by the licence you're given.

9) Privacy & cookies

We handle your data as outlined in our Privacy Policy and use cookies as described in our Cookie Policy. Optional Analytics/Marketing cookies load only with your consent; manage choices at Cookie Preferences.

10) Cancellations, refunds & consumer rights

Our Refund & Cancellation Policy sets out how to cancel or reschedule, time limits, and how refunds are issued. Your statutory rights are not affected. Where UK consumer cooling-off rules apply, we will explain how they work and when you may ask us to begin sooner.

11) Warranties & disclaimers

  • We provide guidance with reasonable skill and care, using brand-neutral, plain-English steps.
  • We do not guarantee a specific outcome where factors outside our control exist (e.g., hardware faults, ISP/router restrictions, admin policies).
  • The site is provided "as is" and may be updated or paused for maintenance.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any rights you have under applicable consumer law.

In practice this means: we're accountable for genuinely doing the guidance work properly — testing steps, explaining clearly, correcting mistakes when flagged — but we can't promise a fixed outcome when the actual blocker turns out to be a hardware fault, an ISP-side restriction, or a corporate policy neither we nor you control.

12) Limitation of liability

We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our failing to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss or damage that is not foreseeable or that is caused by events outside our reasonable control.

We do not exclude or limit liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for breach of your statutory rights.

13) Complaints & dispute resolution

We aim to resolve issues quickly—please contact info@guideaxis.online or call +44-808 531 0585. See our Complaints & Dispute Resolution page for steps, timelines, and escalation routes.

14) Governing law & venue

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If a dispute is not resolved informally, the courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections you have where you live in the UK.

15) Changes to these terms

We may update these terms to reflect changes to our services or legal requirements. We will adjust the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, provide a prominent notice on the site. If you continue to use the site after changes take effect, you agree to the updated terms.

Questions people ask about these terms

How is GuideAxis related to Connecgen Global LLP?

GuideAxis is the brand name under which Connecgen Global LLP, an India-registered Limited Liability Partnership, operates this website and its guidance services. Connecgen Global LLP is the legal entity you're contracting with.

Can I share your checklists with a colleague?

Sharing within your own household or small office is fine, since the licence covers that use. Publishing them elsewhere or distributing them beyond your own household/office isn't covered.

What happens if I don't agree with an update to these terms?

Continuing to use the site after an update means accepting the revised terms. If you disagree with a change, the practical option is to stop using the site and contact us with your concern — significant changes are also flagged with a prominent notice, not just a quiet date update.

Do these terms cover both the website and paid plans?

Yes — these terms apply to browsing and using the website generally, and to any plan or session you book. The Plans & Pricing page and Refund & Cancellation Policy add detail specific to paid bookings, but don't override anything here.
