FAQs

Do you take remote control of my computer or network?

No. You complete the steps on your own device; we provide the sequence and explain each prompt. This keeps you in charge and makes the result repeatable after software updates or router changes.

What should I prepare before a lesson?

Have your device model, OS version and intended connection (Wi-Fi/USB/Ethernet). Knowing your Wi-Fi name and password helps. Close stuck print jobs and, if possible, restart once so we begin from a predictable state.

Is your guidance tied to a specific brand or app?

No. It’s brand-neutral and based on standard Windows/macOS/mobile controls. Where a feature is brand-specific we flag it and offer a generic route where practical.

How long will it take to see results?

Most micro-lessons take 20–40 minutes and end with a small proof (test page or scan). You’ll leave with tidy notes to reuse next time.

What if my device has a hardware fault?

If a device shows error codes or fails basic checks, educational guidance may not help. We’ll explain why and signpost sensible next steps without pushing a brand or service.

Do you support tightly managed corporate laptops?

Where admin policies restrict changes, we’ll outline what’s possible and what requires your administrator. We won’t ask to bypass security or request invasive access.

Can more than one person use the notes?

Yes—our steps are designed for households and small offices. Save the notes and reuse them when new users join or devices are swapped.

Where can I see your hours and refund rules?

See Service Hours & SLA for availability and response targets, and Refund & Cancellation Policy for cancellations, reschedules and refunds.
